Right now, liberals face a choice between health care reform that restricts abortion, or no health care at all. In essence, they're being asked to choose between mammograms for millions of women who currently can't get them, or insurance coverage for a few abortions.

HR 3962, which passed the House late Saturday prevents taxpayer dollars from being spent on abortions.  Conservative Democrats like Sen. Ben Nelson (D-NE), whose vote is indispensable to defeat a Republican filibuster, have said they will not support a HC reform bill without the additional abortion provisions contained in HR 3962.  Radical left wing liberals are furious. 41 radical House Democrats have already signed a letter to Nancy Pelosi swearing not to vote for any healthcare reform that contains the abortion restrictions.

In other words, House Democrats who claim that it's morally wrong to deprive millions of Americans of health care that will save thousands of lives, are willing to let people die, if aborting unborn babies is not paid for under the Public Option.

This is the core of the blatant hypocrisy of the Marxist Democrats who control their party.  Every day they say thousands of Americans are dying in the streets because they can't get health care. Yet, these same Democrats are willing to kill the Pelosi bill and potentially thousands of people not covered by heath insurance if  the Public Option insurance plan does not fund a abortions?

I sincerely believe that Keith Olbermann is not only the biggest asshat in America, but he is my choice for the Worst Person in the World, each and everyday that he appears on MSNBC Countdown spewing his Marxist propaganda to promote liberal fascism. Rachael Maddow, who I am sure you have never seen nor heard of, is the second Worst Person in the World, today or any day she appears on MSNBC.  Neither will retain that title, when Comcast takes over NBC. Both their butts will be out the door faster than you can say, "the worst ratings in MSNBC history".

In the wake of the Fort Hood shooting massacre by Nidal Malik Hasan, Investigative Project on Terrorism Executive Director Steven Emerson sat down Friday to explain why he has no doubt the shooting spree was a terrorist attack. In other clips, Emerson takes on the inconsistencies put forth by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and wonders why Hasan wasn't investigated by military officials before he acted.

Steven Emerson is considered one of the leading authorities on Islamic extremist networks, financing and operations. He serves as the Executive Director of The Investigative Project on Terrorism, one of the world's largest storehouses of archival data and intelligence on Islamic and Middle Eastern terrorist groups. Emerson and his staff frequently provide briefings to U.S. government and law enforcement agencies, members of Congress and congressional committees, and print and electronic media, both national and international. Since 9-11, Emerson has testified before and briefed Congress dozens of times on terrorist financing and operational networks of Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, and the rest of the worldwide Islamic militant spectrum.

Emerson is the author or co-author of six books on terrorism and national security, including:

  • Jihad Incorporated: A Guide to Militant Islam in the U.S. (Prometheus, 2006)
  • American Jihad: The Terrorists Living Among Us (The Free Press, 2002)
  • Terrorist: The Inside Story of the Highest-Ranking Iraqi Terrorist Ever to Defect to the West (Villard Books /Random House, 1991)
  • The Fall of Pan Am 103: Inside the Lockerbie Investigation (Putnam's Sons, 1990)
  • Secret Warriors: Inside the Covert Military Operations of the Reagan Era (Putnam's Sons, 1988)
  • The American House of Saud: The Secret Petrodollar Connection (Franklin Watts, 1985)

He and his organization have been quoted or profiled in hundreds of newspaper and television stories since 9-11.

Emerson launched The Investigative Project on Terrorism in late 1995, following the broadcast of his documentary film, "Jihad in America," on public television. The film exposed clandestine operations of militant Islamic terrorist groups on American soil. For the film, Emerson received numerous awards including the George Polk Award for best television documentary, one of the most prestigious awards in journalism. He also received the top prize from the Investigative Reporters and Editors Organization (IRE) for best investigative report in both print and television for the documentary. The award from IRE was the fourth he had received from that group. The documentary, which was featured on 60 Minutes, has become standard viewing for federal law enforcement and intelligence organizations.

Emerson is recognized as one of the first terrorism experts to have testified and warned about the threat of Islamic militant networks operating in the United States and their connections worldwide. In a pioneering congressional testimony delivered in 1998, he specifically warned about the threat of Osama Bin Laden's network. Nearly every one of the terrorist suspects and groups first identified in his 1994 film have been indicted, convicted, or deported since 9-11.

Liberals & Conservatives Agree

"Steve has been on the cutting edge of [investigating terrorism] for many, many years... he has provided an extremely valuable service."
- Robert Blitzer, retired FBI Counterterrorism Chief

"[Steve] has been doing this a very long time, he is very professional, he is very thorough... Steve produces very unique, very significant information."
- Steven Pomerantz, former Assistant Director of the FBI, former Chief of Counterterrorism of the FBI

"When we would ask FBI if there were criminal violations of support to terrorism such as establishing Web sites soliciting funds or other means of terrorist financing, we would get blank stares. Rick Newcomb's office at Treasury was trying to give the FBI some guidance on where to look for terrorist money, but to little avail. When FBI said there were no Web site in the U.S. that were recruiting jihadists for training in Afghanistan or soliciting money for terrorist front groups, I asked Steve Emerson to check. Emerson had written the book American Jihad, which had told me more than the FBI ever had about radical Islamic groups in the U.S. Within days, Emerson had a long list of Web sites sitting on servers in the United States. I passed the list to Justice and the FBI…"
- Richard A. Clarke, former chief of counter-terrorism for National Security Council, Against All Enemies: Inside America's War on Terror, pp217.

"'I think of Steve as the Paul Revere of terrorism'… [Clarke] credits Emerson with repeatedly warning of Al Qaeda sleeper cells in the United States. He adds that he would attend Emerson's speeches whenever possible because 'we'd always learn things we weren't hearing from the FBI or CIA, things which almost always proved to be true.'"
- Richard Clarke, former head of NSC Counterterrorism, in a feature article on Emerson in Brown Alumni Magazine

"…Emerson was helpful in preparing to cross-examine defense witnesses in the [1993 World Trade Center bombings] case....He's a valuable source of information and knowledge. And in terms of trying to find places to look for evidence, he's a very good person to talk to. He's got a lot of insight."
- Andrew McCarthy, Assistant U.S. Attorney who prosecuted the 1993 World Trade Center bombings

"[Emerson is] the most authoritative expert on Middle Eastern terrorism in the United States today and whose investigations have uncovered the existence of terrorist groups operating in the United States today…This country owes a great deal of gratitude to him."
- Senator John Kyl (Arizona)

"Mr. Emerson has for so long been right on [his] predictions about our long fight against terrorism... Mr. Emerson has shared his very important insights with this subcommittee on a number of occasions in recent years. His expertise is based on daily contact with sources in government and key financial institutions as well as his participation in major terrorist financing cases."
- U.S. Representative Ed Royce (California)

"[The Investigative Project] was a decade ahead of its time in focusing on the terrorist threat to the United States and to our homeland from Islamic extremist..."
- U.S. Representative Brad Sherman (California)

"Steve Emerson, who I think is the best in the world he's got an overview of the war on terror kinda guy, he's got a lot of information coming in."
- Bill O'Reilly, The O'Reilly Factor, December 29, 2006

"Steve was also the one who before 9/11 was saying, 'it's coming, it's coming, it's coming', and Islamic terrorists are going to hit us, and 9/11 came, and he was one of the
only ones screaming about it at the time."
- Dan Abrams, The Abrams Report, June 9, 2005

"Steve Emerson, you have been a fighter, a hero in the battle against terrorism in this country."
- John Kasich, Heartland with John Kasich, December 10, 2005

"Steve Emerson is one of the nation's best national security correspondents. His investigative work on radical Islamic fundamentalism is absolutely critical to this nation's national security. There is no one else who has exhibited the same expertise, courage and determination to tackle this vital issue."
- A.M. Rosenthal, former managing editor of NY Times.

Shortly after Major Malik Nadal Hasan and two other unnamed shooters allegedly opened fire at the largest U.S. military installation in the world, Ft. Hood, Texas, President Barack Obama held a press conference to address the issue. Before getting around to the shooting that has already claimed a dozen lives and wounded at least 31 people, Obama began his remarks:

"I want to thank my Cabinet members and senior administration officials who participated today. I hear that Dr. Joe Medicine Crow was around, and so I want to give a shout out to that Congressional Medal of Honor winner. It’s good to see you."

Obama apparently wrote out his statement concerning the shooting at Fort Hood,  but chose to preface the slaughter of American soldiers with a “shout out” that cheapened both the shooting and the Congressional Medal of Honor.

This quotation tells you everything you need to know about how our Commander in Chief feels.  There is no event so serious that it cannot be prefaced by a moment of glib hipness, no solemn loss so sacred he will deny himself a moment of wry self-indulgence. Soldiers were killed?  Let’s say hi to Joe Medicine Crow first to pimp more Native American votes in 2012.

President Bush used to break into tears when addressing soldiers but was reviled as a cold hearted warmonger by the liberal press.  President Obama gives out rounds of virtual fist-bumps to his buds before even mentioning a slaughter of American soldiers and is treated as a Deity by MSNBC.

We desperately need a patriot in the White House as Commander in Chief.  Obama has again proved we do not have one.

UPDATE:  Crow is not a Medal of Honor recipient.  As noted by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society:
The Medal of Honor is the highest award for valor in action against an enemy force which can be bestowed upon an individual serving in the Armed Services of the United States. Generally presented to its recipient by the President of the United States of America in the name of Congress, it is often called the Congressional Medal of Honor.

Crow's name is not included on the Society's Medal of Honor recipient list.  He was, however, awarded the Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor, in August.

Obama, often described as "cerebral" by the mainstream media, should know the difference between the Medal of Honor and the Medal of Freedom, especially since he personally awarded the latter to Crow.  Don't expect his blunder to receive wide coverage.  It's not something he can blame George Bush for.

Obamarx campaigned for the Democrats in both Virgina and New Jersey. Both Lost!  He did not campaign in the NY-23 and the Democrat won.  The Huffington Post, Politico & CNBC are trying to tell us that these elections were not a referendum on BO.  They can say it a thousand times today, but it will not change the the truth.

America is a center right country. Marxists and Liberal Fascists gained control of our country in 2008.  Almost immediately, the people realized that they had jumped from the frying pan into the fire.  The liberal media, as usual, underestimated the intelligence and patriotism of the American people.

Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, Ed Schultz and Keith Olbermann are actually doing the country a service by revealing the  Marxist agenda of the radical Democratic party leaders and the President.  Nothing can renew your resolve more than watching these radical Marxists for just five minutes a day.

MSNBC labeled  "Tea Baggers" & "Wing Nuts" and members of the MOB are taking the country back from the real radicals. We will not rest until statism has been eradicated and capitalism restored.  Our fight is far from over.  We have a lot of work left to do.  Do not rest. Yesterday was the beginning of  the battle to insure that Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the Earth.

defoxamerica.com/  Says ACORN is doing the work of Jesus and FOX is the devil.  ACORN apparently believes that Jesus is against the United States Constitution and rights such as Freedom of the Speech & Freedom of the Press.  I find it ironic that ACORN and the far Left are bringing Jesus to the forefront in their fight for survival. Aren't these the same left wing radicals who label the religious Right "wingnuts" and worse?  DeFox America wants you to sign this petition to Congress:

Dear Congress member, I am writing to urge you to join me in "Defoxing America." Fox "News" personalities are pushing an agenda that is dangerous to ordinary Americans. Using tactics such as placing individuals singled out for censure on a blackboard and linking them to murderous dictators like Josef Stalin, Fox News has deliberately created an atmosphere of hysteria that they have used to attack organizations and individuals fighting for the issues that matter most to working families. I urge you to stand up to these new McCarthy-ite tactics by voting against any unconstitutional legislation that singles out specific organizations. This includes the Continuing Resolution that cuts off Federal support to the national anti-poverty group ACORN. Don't let Glenn Beck's blackboard dictate the people's agenda. Stand up and "Defox America".

Here is the video ACORN is using to promote their "cause" to "DeFox" America.  The WOLF reports, YOU decide!

Jim Hoft on Pelosi Healthcare Bill

   Let me get this straight.

We’re going to pass a health care plan written by a committee whose head says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn’t read it but exempts themselves from it, signed by a president that also hasn’t read it, and who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that’s broke.

What possibly could go wrong?

gatewaypundit.firstthings.com/2009/10/pelosicare-is-all-about-a-government-takeover-of-health-care/

Anita Dunn is the interim White House Communication Director.  Previously, she was a Democratic political consultant with a Washington-based consulting firm, Squier Knapp Dunn Communications, and was a top adviser to Barack Obama's presidential campaign.

On October 15, 2009, the Glenn Beck program on Fox News exposed a June 5, 2009 video of Dunn admitting that Mao Tse Tung, the former Communist Chinese Chairman, is one of her two favorite political philosophers, using his story of overtaking the Chinese Nationalists to motivate high school children.

Earlier in the week, Dunn told CNN that FOX news was not a news organization but the communications arm of the Republican Party.

Here are some quotes from Chairman Mao, one of two philosophers who Anita Dunn, "turns to most" for guidance:

"The socialist system will eventually replace the capitalist system; this is an objective law independent of man's will. However much the reactionaries try to hold back the wheel of history, eventually revolution will take place and will inevitably triumph."

"In China the struggle to consolidate the socialist system, the struggle to decide whether socialism or capitalism will prevail, will still take a long historical period. However, we should all realize that the new system of socialism will unquestionably be consolidated. We can assuredly build a socialist state with modern industry, modern agriculture, and modern science and culture."

"There is a serious tendency towards capitalism among the well-to-do peasants. This tendency will become rampant if we in the slightest way neglect political work among the peasants during the co-operative movement and for a very long period after."

"Class struggle, the struggle for production and scientific experiment are the three great revolutionary movements for building a mighty socialist country. These movements are a sure guarantee that Communists will be free from bureaucracy and immune against revisionism and dogmatism, and will forever remain invincible."

Anita Dunn the woman assigned to watch Foxnews.com for President Obama looks to the former Communist Chinese leader Chairman Mao Tse Tung and Mother Theresa for inspiration. Chairman Mao is the man responsible for killing 70 million Chinese counter revolutionnaires.  This is who Anita Dunn turns to for guidance.

There is compelling evidence that the inflammatory quotes, which have been attributed to Rush Limbaugh on CNN, MSNBC and at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch are things he never said. There's no audio file, there's no YouTube, there's no transcript -- there's no sourcing of any kind.   Limbaugh is one of the most listened-to and tape-recorded broadcasters yet there is no direct evidence he said any of the racially charged quotes reported in the liberal media.  There is not even a weak  explanation for the quotes like, "Oh, he said these things off the record at a fundraiser for Alexander Haig". The quotes were completely made up by those involved in a smear campaign against Limbaugh, who has been declared an enemy of the Liberal Fascist ObamaNation.

Limbaugh has handled the situation professionally, not drawing undue attention to the quotes on his radio show.  He did make the case that if he said James Earl Ray  was a hero, then surely there would have been a Don-Imus-to-the-nth-power-sized blowup long before now. I'm  surprised that more conservatives haven't brought this matter to the attention of the public.  Have we become so used to  irresponsible behavior by the liberal media  at MSNBC & CNN that we accept this type of yellow journalism as business as usual?   The "liberal" media did not care about the veracity of the quotes as their job was not to report but to take down an enemy of the Liberal State.

It’s no coincidence that Democratic Party outlets like CNN & MSNBC had to create fake quotes to discredit Limbaugh. Nothing Rush actually said would have affected his involvement as a limited partner in an NFL franchise.

This is really all you need to know about State supported media under a Liberal Fascist Administration.

Obamarx Condemns Capitalism

"The insurance industry has decided to lead the charge against health reform, and everyone recognizes their motives: profits," said White House deputy communications director Dan Pfeiffer. "We are going to make sure they can't sink this effort at the last minute."

Pfeiffer castigated the industry for releasing a report Monday that concluded the Finance Committee bill would increase costs to consumers. "They made themselves a very good foil," he said.

Of course without profits these companies wouldn't be required to pay income tax. How do the Democrats propose we pay for their relentless spending ?

The real problem with this so called Health Care Reform is Democrat greed and corruption.  Democrats plan to take the profits from the insurance companies and redistribute them to their special interest constituency groups whose votes they need to purchase in 2010/12.

With the help of smoke, mirrors and accounting slights of hand and we now have health care “reform” for a price tag of only $829 billion.  The price conveniently comes in under under Obama’s limit of $900 billion. Baucus may look and talk like a Montanan, but he’s been in Washington way too long just like Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas. While $829 billion is a real savings compared to $900 billion inside the beltway,  here in middle America, $829 billion dollars is still a lot of money to add to the deficit.

In fact, this is all a wink and a nod plan to sell a very expensive new entitlement program to the ignorant masses.  This legislation will cost far more than $829 billion. This will be an entitlement that will grow to consume the federal budget and, indeed, the economy to transform America into a no-growth, no-job zone like Europe’s nanny states.  England, France and Germany used to be major players on the international stage.  But with social welfare and “universal health care" leading the way, there’s no money for priorities like defense and national security.  With universal health care coverage brought to you by the Department of Health and Human Services, and the IRS we won’t have to worry about the war on terror or border security.  We simply won’t have the money.

The Baucus bill is only the skeleton of the final reform product.  About $500 billion to pay for this reform is suppose to come from Medicare “savings.”  The wealthiest senior generation in the history has the largest lobby, AARP and the most regular voters in the country.  After an Democrat ass whipping at the ballot box in 2010, Congress will restore every penny of Medicare.  Social Security and Medicare are the “third rail” of politics.

The bill also legislates taxation of the so-called Cadillac health plans.  This is supposed to raise the big bucks to pay for this new entitlement ($200 billion).  Either every health insurance plan will carefully price premiums just under the limits of $8000 and $21,000 for individuals and families or employers will simply stop providing health insurance to workers. In fact, this is the goal of Obama's Health Care Reform. Obama and the Democrats will not stop until they legislate a universal single payer system that will cost trillions of dollars more.

On the other hand, it may be a good thing that the Democrats have the majority in both the House and Senate and are lead by Obama.  Democrats in their arrogance, always think they know better than the rest of us.   Democrats have all the answers and solutions, regardless of the will of the people.   We can now sit back and watch the Democrat philosopher-kings, lead by Obama, Reid and Pelosi, come up with solutions that the worker bees in the trenches are just too stupid to see.

Go ahead, Democrats, pass the bill.  Do it in the dark of night before the public or legislators have a chance to read it.  The bottom line is that this bill will provide another thousand reasons to remove the Democrat majority from Congress in 2010 and crush the ObamaNation in 2012. We the people, are going to reclaim our country just we did after Jimmy Carter came close to destroying America.

A report released Monday by America's Health Insurance Plans, an industry trade group, said the Finance Committee bill would impose stiff costs on consumers. Among other things, the report said a family health-insurance policy that costs $12,300 today would increase to $25,900 on average by 2019 under the bill, more than under current law.

The Finance Committee bill is designed to extend coverage to tens of millions of Americans now without insurance. Among other things, the measure would expand eligibility for Medicaid, the health program for the poor, and it would create new tax subsidies to help individuals and families comply with a mandate that nearly every American carry insurance.

The bill is expected to pass the Finance Committee, where Democrats hold a 13-10 majority. After that, Senate Democratic leaders must merge the Finance bill with a more liberal measure approved by the Senate health committee.

Among the issues on the table: whether the legislation should include a government-run health plan. As it stands, the Finance bill doesn't include one. Instead, the measure would create a network of nonprofit health cooperatives to compete with private insurers.

Karen Ignagni, chief executive of America's Health Insurance Plans, said the group still backs efforts to pass health legislation. But she said the combined changes made to the Finance bill will increase costs, not lower them. "Congress, too early, gave up on the goal of bending the cost curve," she said.

Obama's military commander in Afghanistan, Stanley McChrystal, has requested to greatly increase the presence of U.S. armed forces there. The Libertarian Party opposes this plan.  In September 2008, the Libertarian National Committee adopted this resolution:

WHEREAS the government of the United States should return to its historical libertarian tradition of avoiding entangling alliances, foreign quarrels, and military adventures; and

WHEREAS the stability and security of Afghanistan lie outside the jurisdiction of the government of the United States; and

WHEREAS the Libertarian Party recognizes that the only legitimate role of the military is to defend America against direct attack or the imminent threat of attack;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Libertarian National Committee calls on the government of the United States to withdraw the armed forces of the United States from Afghanistan, without undue delay.
Democrats often claim to oppose foreign wars. But after eight months in total control of Congress and the White House, Democrats have done nothing to end the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

I am a Libertarian who agrees with the above resolution. I opposed the War in Iraq from the beginning, long before either Hillary Clinton or Obama did.  I was against Bush's actions in Iraq and I am against Obama's actions in Afghanistan.

I have said, many times before, there is not a dime's worth of difference between the Republican and Democrat parties. Both parties ignore the Constitution and both parties will do anything to stop any third party from full participation in the political process in the United States.

Obama, is no different than any other President in my lifetime. They ALL have had their personal "undeclared" wars and overseas "police" actions.  All of us lose when the U.S. gets involved in these unconstitutional conflicts on foreign soil.

Reported by of the Washington Times

Seven of the 10 living former CIA chiefs Friday urged President Obama to overrule his attorney general and not reopen investigations into CIA employees who may have abused detainees during the George W. Bush administration.

The former directors warned that further investigations would demoralize current CIA officers and might also lead allied intelligence services to suspend or scale back cooperation with the United States because the judicial probes could disclose joint operations and activities.

On Aug. 24, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. appointed a federal prosecutor, John Durham, to review cases against CIA officers suspected of exceeding Justice Department guidelines for interrogations of terrorist suspects following the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. The decision to reopen the cases was controversial in part because the Justice Department under the Bush administration had already considered the charges and declined to prosecute the officers.

In a letter released Friday, the former directors of the CIA, who included Democratic and Republican appointees, wrote: "If criminal investigations closed by career prosecutors during one administration can so easily be reopened at the direction of political appointees in the next, declinations of prosecution will be rendered meaningless. Those men and women who undertake difficult intelligence assignments in the aftermath of an attack such as September 11 must believe there is permanence in the legal rules that govern their actions."

The former CIA directors who signed the letter are: Michael V. Hayden, Porter J. Goss, George J. Tenet, John Deutch, R. James Woolsey, William H. Webster and James R. Schlesinger. The only living CIA directors who did not sign the letter are former President George H.W. Bush, current defense secretary Robert M. Gates and former President Jimmy Carter's CIA director, Stansfield Turner.

A former government official familiar with the drafting of the letter said the elder Mr. Bush was not asked to sign the letter because he is a former president and Mr. Gates was not asked to sign because he is currently serving in the administration.

In response to the letter, Paul Gimigliano, a CIA spokesman, said the agency "is cooperating with the official reviews now in progress, in part to see that they move as expeditiously as possible. The goal is to ensure that current agency operations - on which the safety of our country depends - center on protecting the nation."

Beyond the impact on CIA morale, the seven former CIA directors said reopening the cases could inadvertently disclose the cooperation of foreign intelligence services that the U.S. government had promised would remain secret.

"Foreign services are already greatly concerned about the United States' inability to maintain any secrets," the letter said. "They rightly fear that, through these additional investigations and the court proceedings that could follow, terrorists may learn how other countries came to our assistance in a time of peril."

The letter goes on to say, "The United States promised these foreign countries that their cooperation would never be disclosed. As a result of the zeal on the part of some to uncover every action taken in the post-9/11 period, many countries may decide that they can no longer safely share intelligence or cooperate with us on future counter-terrorist operations. They simply cannot rely on our promises of secrecy."

My favorite radio station is Hardcore Sports Radio on Sirius Channel 98.  The radio station is located in Toronto, Canada and is broadcast uncensored.  I guess you could say Hardcore Sports is a Libertarian sports fan's ideal station.  Most of the on air talent is Canadian but these guys know U.S. sports more than most Americans.

My favorite personality is Gabriel Morency. Morency knows more about NCAA and NFL football teams in the U.S. than most radio sports personalities in America.  His late night show, SPORTS RAGE is my favorite show on Sirius as he keeps me both entertained and informed.

Morency weighed in on Obama bashers last night. Unfortunately, the caller he was engaged with, could not articulate the frustration that many Americans have with our President.  Morency is a class act and he reads all emails and takes phone calls from anyone who calls his show. Most radio shows only allow a fraction of the callers to get on the air and virtually none of their emails are read on the air.

Sports Rage is not for the faint of heart. Anything goes on the show but the programing works. I look forward to hearing from the many regular callers all over North America. My only beef with the show is that Morency doesn't seem to get American politics. I think this is a universal problem outside of the U.S. I have a friend in South Africa who travels to the U.S. often and tells me the same thing.

The world  hates Bush and loves Obama.  The MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, PBS and the worldwide media continue to portray Obama as a great President, a savior to the "unwashed masses" of misguided Americans.  But Obama's popularity in the U.S. is reflected in the recent polls that show a dramatic decline in favorable ratings for his performance.

I did not hear the show live last night , but listened to a replay this morning. After listening, I decided to email Morency and try to explain why I think so many Americans are upset with the performance of President Obama.  I invited him to review the entries on this site to find out why many Americans are angry with the ObamaNation of America,  including ACORN, Cap & Trade, ObamaCare, Government Motors (GM),  Stimulus failure,  corporate bailouts, unemployment and record federal deficit.

I don't think I will change Morency's opinion or anyone else who lives outside of the U.S. I don't think they will ever "get it".  On the other hand, millions of Americans, many I suspect  who voted for Obama, are starting to "get it".  Just as we survived Jimmy Carter, we will survive Barack Obama. In the end,  the USA will be a stronger and better country and the rest of the world will continue to be jealous of the best country on earth.

A full-blown trade row erupted on Sunday night between the US and China after Beijing accused Washington of “rampant protectionism” for imposing heavy duties on imported Chinese tires and threatened action against imports of US poultry and vehicles.

Trade relations between two of the world’s biggest economies deteriorated after Barack Obama signed an order late on Friday to impose a new duty of 35 per cent on Chinese tyre imports on top of an existing 4 per cent tariff.

In his first big test on world trade since taking office in January, Mr Obama sided with America’s trade unions, which have complained that a “surge” in imports of Chinese-made tyres had caused 7,000 job losses among US factory workers.

Obama’s decision is a clear affirmation of the power of unions in shaping trade policy. It appears that Obama is desperate to shore-up support from unions and the left of the Democratic Party for health-care reform—his most pressing domestic concern—and is prepared to risk repercussions on trade.

Beijing issued a statement Saturday sharply condemning the U.S. move.

"China strongly opposes this serious act of trade protectionism by the U.S.," the statement on the Ministry of Commerce Web site said. "This act not only violates the rules of the World Trade Organization but also violates the relevant commitments made by the U.S. government at the G-20 financial summit."

By taking "this unprecedented action, the Obama administration is now at odds with its own public statements about refraining from increasing tariffs above current levels," said Vic DeIorio, executive vice president, GITI Tire (U.S.), the largest manufacturer of tires in China.

OVER 1.5 MILLION PEOPLE WHO MARCHED ON D.C. DISAGREE (September 12, 2009)

Timelapse: of Protesters Washington, D.C. (8:00-11:30)

Cash for Clunkers, which drew buyers into showrooms with rebates of up to $4,500 toward a new, more fuel-efficient car, clearly helped some car makers more than others.

Ford's sales rose 17.2%--the largest boost since July 2005--and its second consecutive monthly increase after 19 months of sales declines. Toyota rose 6.4%, and Honda rose 9.9%. Meanwhile, GM slid 20.1%, compared with a 19.4% drop in July. Chrysler's sales fell 15.4%, worse than July's 9.4% decline.

The disparate results proved yet again the industry adage that the companies with the right products, at the right time, will be the winners.

GM and the ObamaNation continue to FAIL.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Thursday that politics did not influence the decision to spend millions of dollars in stimulus money on little-used border checkpoints while passing over higher-priority projects.

A sleepy Montana checkpoint along the Canadian border that sees about three travelers a day will get $15 million under President Barack Obama’s economic stimulus plan. A government priority list ranked the project as marginal, but two powerful Democratic senators persuaded the administration to make it happen.

Despite Obama’s promises that the stimulus plan would be transparent and free of politics, the government is handing out $720 million for border upgrades under a process that is both secretive and susceptible to political influence. This allowed low-priority projects such as the checkpoint in Whitetail, Mont., to skip ahead of more pressing concerns, according to documents revealed to The Associated Press.

It wasn’t supposed to be that way. In 2004, Congress ordered Homeland Security to create a list, updated annually, of the most important repairs at checkpoints nationwide. But the Obama administration continued a Bush administration practice of considering other, more subjective factors when deciding which projects get money.

The results:

— A border station in Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano’s home state of Arizona is getting $199 million, five times more than any other border station. The busy Nogales checkpoint has required repairs for years but was not rated among the neediest projects on the master list reviewed by the AP. Napolitano credited her lobbying as Arizona governor for getting the project near the front of the line for funding under the Bush administration. All it needed was money, which the stimulus provided.

— A checkpoint in Laredo, which serves more than 55,000 travelers and 4,200 trucks a day, is rated among the government’s highest priorities but was passed over for stimulus money.

— The Westhope, N.D., checkpoint, which serves about 73 people a day and is among the lowest-priority projects, is set to get nearly $15 million for renovations.

The Whitetail project, which involves building a border station the size and cost of a Hollywood mansion, benefited from two key allies, Montana Sens. Max Baucus and Jon Tester. Both pressed Napolitano to finance projects in their state. Tester’s office boasted of that effort in an April news release, crediting Baucus and his seat at the head of the “powerful Senate Finance Committee.”

Customs officials would not discuss that claim. Asked to explain Whitetail’s windfall, they provided a one-page fact sheet that contains no information about Whitetail’s needs and is almost identical to the fact sheet for every other Montana project.

It’s hardly a recent phenomenon for politicians to use their influence to steer money to their home states. Yet Obama said the stimulus would be different. He banned “earmarks,” which lawmakers routinely slip into bills to pay for pet projects, and he told agencies to “develop transparent, merit-based selection criteria” for spending.

Customs and Border Protection, the Homeland Security agency overseeing border projects, allowed the AP to review the list but will not make it public or explain its justifications for deviating from it.

Releasing that information would allow the public to see whether less important projects are getting money. The Transportation Department, for instance, was recently criticized by its internal watchdog for spending $1.1 billion on airport construction that didn’t meet financing standards.

Customs officials said they wouldn’t release the master list because it was just a starting point and subject to misunderstanding.

Some discrepancies between the stimulus plan and the priority list can be attributed to Congress, which set aside separate pools of money for large and small border stations. That guaranteed that a few small, probably lower-rated projects would be chosen ahead of bigger, higher-priority projects. But it doesn’t explain all the discrepancies, because even within the two pools, Homeland Security sometimes reached way down on the list when selecting projects.

This March 30, 2007, file photo provided by the Daniels County Leader shows the Whitetail, Mont., border checkpoint at left. At right is the Canadian border crossing station. The small checkpoint along Montana's border with Canada, which serves about three travelers every day, will receive $15 million for repairs under President Barack Obama's economic stimulus plan. Until recently, the project was not considered a high priority for the Department of Homeland Security.

Dear Friend of Liberty,

Make no mistake: there's a strong, unrelenting push to destroy what remains of private health care in this country.

And now congressional leaders are attempting to overcome their scheme's plunging approval numbers by manipulating Ted Kennedy's death to create support for a “legacy” health care bill.

Our representatives and senators are eager to get back to Washington and away from the tremendous grassroots opposition to health control.

Which means it's time for us to turn up the heat.

Click here to get contact information to write, call, and fax Congress to express your outrage at their plans to finish taking over what remains of private health care.  And be sure to sign our "Stop the Government Health Care Scheme" petition.

Health control propagandists claim that we are defending the status quo of a "failed" private sector by opposing their latest scheme.

However, their bill cements the status quo in health care: continuing (and expanding) government intrusion.

Protectionist regulations have decimated competition in health insurance at the local level, and the vast, complex tax code has subsidized employer-provided high cost health care. The FDA, in the name of consumer protection, has restricted the supply of drugs from home and abroad. And individuals are barred from shopping across state lines for health insurance.

Watch this YouTube video to see a ER physician describe how the government obstructs the supply of health services.

Does any of that really sound like the free market at work to you?

Government-manipulated health care is bankrupting this country. Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are drowning in tens of trillions of dollars worth of unfunded liabilities and red ink, yet the response from Congress is to propose more 1,000+ page bills that will move our health care system perilously close to other nations' statist care.

You know as well as I that this unfair plan is doomed to be a fiscal nightmare comparable to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and that Congress-created HMOs are notorious for denying care to control spiraling costs.

Our nation has seen enough big government schemes, especially in medicine. President Obama is right about one thing: it's time to take action.

It's time to let the free market work.

Click here for contact information for the House and Senate in order to demand real reform.  In addition to contacting your representative and senators, be sure to campaign hard for health freedom at your local townhall meeting.

Urge your representative to fight to allow individuals to shop across state lines for insurance, curb the authority of the FDA to prevent Americans from going outside the country for cheaper medications, and enable individuals to purchase their own health insurance without being taxed for doing so.

Tell Congress to give Americans control over their health care by giving them control over their health care dollar via tax credits and deductions similar to those outlined in Congressman Ron Paul's Comprehensive Health Care Reform Act (HR 1495).

Ask your congressman to protect privacy rights by allowing patients and physicians to opt-out of any government-mandated or funded system of electronic health care records, and to repeal the federal law creating an "unique patient identifier" by adopting the policies contained in Congressman Ron Paul's Protect Patients and Physicians Privacy Act (HR 2630).

In the meantime, we can push for reform of our respective state's competition-destroying mandates on private insurers.  These simple, common-sense reforms would immediately alleviate the costs of health care without adding to the exploding national debt.

And if you are able, please donate to Campaign for Liberty today so that we can educate Americans on a true free market health care system and defeat this latest health control scheme.

Don't let the proponents of Obamacare sell you on the notion that we need the government to save us from the mess that government made.  Click here to demand that Congress support legitimate health care reform!
