It's Official: Politicians are the lowest form of life

Former SMU football player and ESPN analyst Craig James made news recently when he and his son Adam were responsible for getting Football coach Mike Leach fired from Texas Tech.

This low life could be making more news soon in politics.

Craig James name is being tossed around as a possible candidate to run for another low life, Kay Bailey Hutchison's U.S. Senate seat when she resigns in March.

James confirmed to local Dallas TV stations on Thursday afternoon that he is interested in getting involved in Republican Party politics, and he's not ruling out a run for office.

In addition to his role as a college football analyst, James said he's also been in business as a real estate broker and investor. He calls himself a conservative who’s very concerned about government intervention in business and health care.

James has been making the rounds meeting prominent Texas Republicans and donors raising his political profile and said he won't rule out running for the Hutchison seat.

I can assure you that James has not helped his chances for election in Texas by allowing Texas Tech to use his lazy, untalented, spoiled brat son to fire the most winning coach in Texas Tech history.

"Me thinks"  James wants to run so he can get security full time after single-handedly destroying the Texas Tech football program.  But what do I know?  I though the TCU offense would show up at the Fiesta Bowl.
