Yet today, we could see another incumbent lose (Pennsylvania’s Arlen Specter) and another one get forced into a run-off (Arkansas’ Blanche Lincoln). If those things happen -- along with Trey Grayson losing in Kentucky -- it will prove beyond any doubt that the USA is in the midst of anti-incumbent/anti-establishment political environment spearheaded by the Tea Party Movement.
DemocRATS and "moderate" Republican incumbents are being flushed down the the political toilet. Look for Rand Paul (son of Ron Paul) to win the Republican nomination in Kentucky tonight. Libtard talking heads on MSNBC are in denial but the polls and the election results are ringing true.
The latest NBC/WSJ poll numbers back this up:
56% think the country is headed in the wrong direction; 72% disapprove of Congress’ job; 76% believe the U.S. is still in a recession; and 81% are dissatisfied with the economy.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for today shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -17. That matches the lowest rating earned by the president since the passage of his health care proposal two months ago.
