Statists are Public Enemy Number One

Statism (or etatism) is a term assigned to political movements and trends that are seen as supporting the use of the State to achieve goals, both economic and social.

Under the Obama administration, federal spending, taxes, welfare, borrowing, debt, regulation and control of health care, finance and industry continue spiraling out of control. The occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan continue. The infringements on civil liberties continues. The Federal Reserve is expanding the money supply by unprecedented amounts. The value of the dollar is plunging.

The shame of the matter is that it’s the liberals who should be ashamed — ashamed of what they have done to our country with their socialistic welfare state. Look at what they have done — out of control federal spending funding massive tax-and-transfer schemes, with everything just getting worse and worse. But according to liberals, it’s all the fault of free enterprise, speculators and bankers.

The only solution to the political and economic problems that we are facing is the restoration of a a free-market, limited-government republic to our landThe overwhelming majority Americans oppose statism, socialism, interventionism, and imperialism.  The Obamanation is now threatened by the fact that Libertarians and Tea Party participants are a growing force in the Republic.

This is scaring the statists to death — the thought that increasing numbers of people are breaking through to reality and recognizing what the statists have done to our country and what they’re still trying to do with their immoral and destructive policies.
There is one — and only one — solution to all this statism that both liberals and conservatives have brought our nation. That solution is libertarianism. We libertarians are engaged in one of the grandest and most glorious movements in history — the restoration of liberty, free markets, and limited government to our land. It is a movement that is garnering more and more adherents every day.
